No savings to be made there then.71kg
10% is quite a lot to aim for, but there are loads of options like aluminium doorskins, fibreglass bonnet and boot, racing battery, Perspex windows

better results can be found removing weight from the rotating mass of the engine.
10% reduction ends you with a stripped out sound box.

Depends how much money you've got to spend for carbon fibre parts, perspex and so on too

Another overlooked thing. Make sure the bodywork is in top condition. You will be surprised how much extra weight your car could have gained over the years with bodywork bodges like over sills, cheat inner sills, flitch repairs etc, rust and filler.

Keep the weight and increase the engine bhp and torque, same difference
A lighter car would be better.

As above, more engine power and, more importantly, more torque will give a better overall result as will lowering the final drive ratio. A 3.44:1 is a good overall ratio.
Lightening the flywheel is another good way of improving performance as more of the torque is available to accelerate the car.
However, if the car is for motor-sport all weight saving is good as it reduces the lap times.
