Hi,

Does anyone have an idea as to why my new inner wheel bearings aren't sitting tight in the race?

They can be moved in and out slightly, I followed the instructions carefully so I can't see what I could've done wrong.

I've included a video to show the movement I mean:

Its the driveshaft that holds it in place then?

Sorry if it was a stupid question! I just want to make sure I get everything right.

Everything says that there should only be rotational movement, nothing else.

Yeap, all looks good to me.

Bung the CV and tighten it up, then see how it all feels.

Hi,

As they're taper bearings they need to be squeezed together to clamp them in the races, it's how they work. Re-fit and test  ;D

Cheers  :proud:
