Hi All
A silly question but how do the clips fit onto the roof gutter trim of a classic mini? I have tried both ways round and neither seems to hold the trim in place. It currently only has one at the back but I need to add one at the front and at each side as the trim is loose. Is there some special knack to fitting them?!

Hi,
The clip is just to cover the joins like the ones in the front and rear screens.
I there should only be one at the front and another one at the rear.
Cheers

Thanks for your replies guys. My reason for wanting to put additional clips at sides and front was to stop the trim coming off every time I remove the car cover. If they are only intended as joining pieces then I guess I will have to come up with some other way of stopping it from moving! I don't want to remove it as I think it enhances the look of a mini. Gorilla Glue maybe!?

As Cal said, I'd remove it too. Had it on mine, and got annoyed by it yellowing in the sun and flattering on the highway as I couldn't get it to fit tightly. Plus it his some rust that needs to get worked on soon.... :/
I'd say use some silicon or a removable type of glue, incase you one day, decide to remove it and to keep water out from under there as its prime location to get caught up ...
