Hi

I need to remove the locking wheel nut on my recently purchased 2000 Cooper sportspak 13" minilites . I don't have  the adapter  for the nuts in question and have no idea on how to find out which one it is, I will replace tem with new nuts if I can get them off ,  Can anyone help.

Thanks

Alan

Try a local tyre shop or garage for their tool, basically it's an impact driver with a brass, 'unkeyed' locking socket. Hammered onto the stud then loosened

Don’t know how near Reading you are, but this guy is good:

Or depending on the design of the nut, you can sometimes hammer an undersized socket over the nut and use that to undo it. I did this on my Mini once, but sports pack ones might be different.

Or you can get tools like this:

But never tried them myself so can’t comment on how good they are.
