Contact FW Thortons in Macclesfield and they will tell you if they exist ... or you need a new crank ...

F.W. Thornton in Shrewsbury would be closer for you I think.
I have never seen an 80 thou undersize journal bearing. On a Cooper 'S' it would have ground through the nitriding and an 850 crank would be getting very weak at that size.

I've not seen a -0.080" either, but you can make some or get them made, not hard really, though at that size bearing, you'd most like want to use laminated materials or a thick backing shell, before laying down the babit material.

Thanks to all for your comments; it was a long shot.
I'll do what I did last time, sweat a strip of brass shim on the back of the bearing, and file to fit.

Surely the shape of the bearing shell is going to be wrong? .. it will be too wide at the ends. I know 20thou isn't much ... I guess it may squeeze up .. or wear quicker!

Th shells circumference will be too big if you do that. You need to reduce that to achieve the correct crush.

"I file it to fit"
Actually, I'll scribe it, touch it on the grindstone and finish it on a file.
