A bit pricey for me at the moment,  but I might go next year..

Would be interested to hear of any experience good or bad,

I used to be a bit anti the Goodwood thing - "all toffs and bankers"  -  but having been there and met some of the people who go,  its not snooty as I had imagined it would be.

Coming from a Dagenham 1970's Banger Racing background I'm hardly what one might call one of the Bentley Boys.

My parents went a few times and sounds like fun - a bit of dress up , cars, bikes and planes - whats not to like (apart from the admission price)

Best

I'll be there Sunday. Highlight of the year for me. Missed it last year as was on the Italian job tour, otherwise been about ten years running.

I was there on Friday. I have been a few times. It is always a fantastic day with so many different aspects and also many great classic cars to be seen in the car parks. The organisation is brilliant.

I am def going with family next year

It was great to have been able to race my mini there when I competed in a sprint (Eagle Sprint) a few months ago -

I was assigned  garage no 1 and got x4 separate timed laps of the circuit - a bit like being allowed to have a kick about with mates at wembley if you were a footy fan.

On track its overwhelmingly big - unlike Brands you feel lost , it seems very wide and its hard to know where to position the car for best line. I put in x3 1:35ish laps, then after taking advice on best line on  few of the corners (Fordwater to St Marys to Lavant) i shaved a massive 11sec off my previous best time to 1:25, so went home happy.

Best

Matt

I was there yesterday. Brilliant event. It is pricey but I encourage everyone to do it once in their life time

The St Mary’s Trophie pretty much sums up why the event is so good.

If you get a chance, watch the second part of the St Mary’s Trophie today on the Revival live stream. Nick Swift will be driving “Willow 2” and is guaranteed to be a great watch

For those that can't be there (me included) the weekend long live online coverage is a must and is absolutely superb.

As much as you might want to go do something constructive once you start watching its not easy to turn off.

Too true! I've spent all weekend glued to the live stream. The coverage is really excellent, as good as any other professional motorsport broadcast. I hope to make the trip over at least once.

I've been going for years, normally for all 3 days, if you love old cars, bikes and planes there isn't anything to beat it, we always talk about dressing up but never do, I've found that you get 2 types of people, those that love old cars/bikes really going for it ie racing, and those that go because it's a place to be seen etc, personally I don't mind either type. As for the event, this year I though some of the racing was poor especially the st Mary's, which has become infested by touring car drivers who's sole aim seems to be win at all cost including punting others off, over and generally out of the race, but will I be going next year of course I will

Ps
Did anybody who went see the ringer mini in the infield parking
