Try using a silicon spray to help the rubber friction (not silicon spray grease). Mr Sheen is a useful alternative.

check they are seated correctly , there is a ridge that the rubber sits behind

can be a pain if new

Had this exact same problem a year ago when assembling my new Heritage shell. I used new Mini Spares window seals. They fit perfectly into the channel in the door. On installation the passengers (right) would roll up and down, but was pretty stiff. The drivers would roll up about half way using one hand, but higher than that took two and would not go all the way up. I tried silicone lube and graphite powder with no improvement. My secret fear was that the new shell had a fault in the assembly of the door. Measuring the width of the window aperture (sans seal) agreed on both sides as did the width of the piece of glass. The thought occurred to me to have the glass narrowed by grinding or some such, but was told that couldn't be done in any way without causing the glass to shatter. I tried several panes but all fit the same, very tight. I didn't want to order a new seal as I couldn't see how that would be the problem seeing as how they were both new. However, as I got more desperate I came across a NOS seal that had come from Mini Spares through Mini Mania probably 20 years ago and was still new in the sealed bag. Cautiously popped it in and the window would work with one hand!  Still a little stiff, but I could live with that figuring it would loosen up with use. I examined the MS one that came out and could see nothing different so all I could figure was that the rubber was too thick through the whole length of the seal not leaving enough room for the glass to fit. Just my experience, hope you sort yours out!

Thanks for the reply’s , I’ll had seal in and out a few times hooping it would sort I’ll double check again and try silicone spray , it’s fine going up the side in the seals it’s when it’s going in the top part when the full width of glass horizontal trying to all go in at once ??
