I had an RC40 back in the 80's and it was great. However, I have just bought  a mini which turns out to have a Maniflow single pipe centre exit on a 1275. This sounds nice, too and perhaps a little more aggressive but not overly loud I didn't think. Still, I am spoilt with a V8 kit car with twin exit Pecos. Not a sound easily bettered!

So I have decided to go with a Maniflow side exit stainless 1.75" single box and I already have a glasspack muffler that I may or may not use.
One last question I have is, is it better to go with a freeflow manifold and link pipe or a manifold with an LCB?

Personally I prefer the freeflow with a mild to moderately tuned car. No less power, and no y piece.
