Hi I have always wanted a MK1 mini I am now financially in a position to purchase one. I have seen one advertised but wanted some advise on what questions I should ask before viewing..

to be honest find someone who knows about Mk 1 minis and take them along.

Sound advice from Nick. We can give pointers as much as anyone else but having someone with you who knows the difference between the different Mk's will be the safest way to go.

 

Far too many unscrupulous people out there trying to sell something that purports to be a MK1 but you end up with a messed around later shell.

Try mentioning where this car is and ask if any member with Mk1 knowledge would consider accompanying you to view.
