Gearbox 14Mm Main Shaft Spigot Bearing

Best Answer Spider , 09 October 2018 - 08:05 AM

The new ones I have are also counterfeits, though I hardly use these bearing these days.

Unfortunately, there's no international standard for these types of Needle Rollers and it would also appear there's no multipal ratings for the same size bearing, unlike others, so it might need some shopping around. The good news is, that it is a Metric bearing, so it'll be easy to come by it and it won't cost an arm and a leg.

I'd suggest contacting SKF Australia at Gepps Cross on 8162 5957 and ask for a RK141817. They may not sell direct, you may have to go through one of their Authorised Distributors.

Does anyone know where I could obtain a new 'original' type gearbox (14mm)main shaft spigot bearing (HYL8474) with 15 full length rollers? In Australia? The ones I have tried so far have all had 12 rollers and the rollers are shorter. Or are these new type bearings OK to use? Most of the websites show the new type bearing in their photos.
Thank you.

Hi Matt,

The P/N you've posted up is the Australian one mate, the UK equivalent is CHM172.

I'll have a look at what I have here and also the standard bearing part number.
