Hello
I am currently rebuilding a 73 and while painting the parts I have mixed up the lower arms. Is there a way to identify which one goes on the left the which goes on the right.

Yes. The hole for the ball joint is tapered, so widest end is uppermost. So with them the correct way up by looking at the tie rod bolt hole it should then be obvious which side is which.
