Hi guys, i did ask this question several months back, and got some helpful but not definitive answers. Ive fitted the specialist components ecu to my build (storm2) delta. I know what wire goes to to the rev counter and have run it the counter, but dont know if it goes to the bullet connector or the spade. Have spoke to s/c and they really did,nt help either. I dont really want to go down the 50/50 trial and error route. #damage. I have the 90 mph black dial rover clocks as fitted to the mini 30.

Hi,

Pic of the back of the rev counter could be really useful here.

Cheers  :proud:

Hi,

Or reconnect the original mini wiring and pick up the white/black across the bulkhead or in the engine bay.

Cheers  :proud:

The bullet connector on the mini's dash loom is for the rev counter signal wire, the spade will be a switched ignition live...  :-)

So, on that principle, the bullet connector on the clock pod, should receive the rev counter signal wire from the ecu, ironically that is white and black too, which i have to put in a 1k pull-up resistor. Cheers.

Just to close this feed, it was indeed the bullet connector that the signal wire connected to, it did,nt need the pull up transistor either. Works great. Thanks Minifreek and any other members who contributed. Problem solved!.
