I took mine off and am now going to take the plastic bag / boot off the distributor too as I find they just hide parts and it makes inspection harder.  If dampness gets in you can wipe it off with a towel or something.   Most of the high spec cars don't seem to bother with them.

I had looked in other places, not just Amazon, including google searches.  Would be interesting to see if they can actually deliver.  Holts no longer list it on their site either.

Odd that the picture shows the wording in english and german

I have never used a shield or rubber gloves, even on my rally cars which go through a lot of water.

I use a non-conductive silicone grease which I 'plaster' over the dizzy cap, coil and leads. Then I spray with 'Ignition Sealer' (at least two coats). with further coats sprayed on before every rally.
