Hello. I have a MPI and want to replace the bushings on my upper and lower engine steady bars, (getting a knocking noise when shifting). I know that the MPI has a different bushing than the earlier minis. Is the bottom ones the same as the MPI upper? And could I possibly use the older style bushings on the MPI? Is the diameter the same? thanks

Looking at the Moss Europe website, the part number is the same for all the bushes: upper and lower ... but it doesn't mention any model specific changes.

MiniSpares do list different bushes depending on year

I belive so, I know that aftermarket bottom ones that go backwards to the subframe use a larger bolt, but the bushing can be drilled to suit.

Also minispares do an uprated version for the bush for performance use, which is what I use.

I have the same bushes in all my stabilizers.

they are all basically the same. have the same fitted size. some are harder to fit in the stabilizers than others.
