Just asking for those who have A048s on their minis how they handle as a daily driver? Some rain, cooler temps etc
Cheers

I was not aware that they were remaking them as road legal.
IIRC they are no longer legal for road use.

As Nick has said, unless you've found some NOS tyres, these aren't available as road legal anymore.
That said, we had a set of the old road legal ones on ours and I wouldn't have been happy driving in winter with them on. I'm sure many will come along and say they were fine but they really weren't suited to wet, slippery conditions. You'd be better with a more general purpose tyre, if you want to stick with Yoko the A539s are OK.

if you look they are 048 R which are not road legal, the old 048 were road legal.
look here https://www.yokohama...ar-Summer-Tyres
not there
but if you go to the motorsports section
https://www.yokohama...ck-Sports-Tyres
there was a time the 048 were E approved but they are no longer.

somewhat confusingly the preceding page describes the Track-Sports Tyres (A048 and A032R included) as 'The ultimate track-day or road legal race tyre'

Here is a link describing them as road legal track tyres.
https://www.tyremen....gal-track-tyres
as there is no date on that i would not take it as fact. as the 12" WERE road legal but are no longer.
