My A/C blower works but clutch/condenser fan will not engage due to no power -- unless I bridge the relay connections. Thinking thermistor -- but cannot find it anywhere.  Where is it and how do I access it for replacement? Unfortunately, my car is vastly different than the late SPi wiring diagram, as I have only the engine 4-fuse box (and two a/c fuses mounted on the bracket on the brake booster)

I suppose it could be a faulty low/high pressure switch on the compressor, too?

Cheers,

Sam

The thermistor is located in the blower assembly. However, it's actually the air conditioner thermostat that goes faulty.

It is located behind the dash pocket. Part number JQL100020.

Sam, slightly off topic, but any chance you can give more detail about the a/c fuses you're referring to? I'm currently refurbishing the engine bay of my '98 JDM and I'm trying to identify where all the bits of the air-con are.

Stu.
