I know this is an old thread but I am looking for a replacement battery but having measured up for a 096 size I can't see how it will physically fit. The length of a 096 battery is 278mm but the battery box is 275mm so it doesn't look like it is going to work.

 

How are 096 battery users getting them to fit successfully?

Try a different manufacturer of 096 size or trim the floor tabs if it has them.

Hi Steve the dimensions are standard for the 096 battery but if it is measured to the tabs then that is problem solved as it will be easy enough to trim 3 or 4mm off the total length.
