Does anyone have any experience of using an underseat subwoofer?

I was looking at a Kenwood KSC-PSW8, it's dimensions are 350mm x 240mm x 75mm. Will this fit under a standard Mpi seat and frame?

I'm really keen to have something that is as discreet as possible and this looks ideal (if it fits!).

Thanks in advance.

It's not going to give you deep bass, it will be bassey but not low down in the frequency range.

you'll be better off with some 6 x 9 under the rear seat

I did both....put the 6 x 9's under the rear seat, Kenwood sub in the boot. Just added some Focal's up at the dash and the sound is quite good for a Mini. Sound deadener and closed cell foam are next!

All understood, but, does this unit fit under a Mini seat?

I want to stay away from tinkering with things too much. I appreciate it may not give the best results, my aim is to stay as original as possible and discreet.

In all honesty, decent 16cm speaker on your rear parcel shelf should give you more than enough bass.
