Im looking for some new leads . what shall i get ? i have the car out side now at night, so would double silicon leads be good ? or what u reacon. thanks :ermm:

Just get good quality standard replacments parts with large boots to seal off the contacts well.

You *could* get champion leads, they're red and the coil lewad is yellow, i've used them but they broke down for some reason.. put the original ones back on, and it was a lovely drive again!.

personally i would go to halfrauds or your local motor factors and get a standard set. i got Bosch ones from halfraudes and they are fine

Aye, the Bosch ones are good, or the blue silicon ones from MiniSpares...

halfrauds lol the ones that r on there now r the same ones as the link i sent. but us ones broke i need new set. i thought they would be good to get the silcon ones ? so whats standard then. my cars a metro turbo ?

to be honest "performance" or "silicon" leads make no performance difference at all.

just good quality serviceable leads are good enough

Just got me leads. the ones on the car now are CHAMPION triple silicone 8mm.
The ones i just got are KERR NELSON HIGH VOLT 7mm double silicone RFI suppressed iso 3808 class f.
Are they good, or are my champion better ? thanks

waqng the champion ones on. I've used them and they're fine... but the original replacements will proably last longer!
