1. What sort of LSD are you running?

2. What is your Mini used for?

3. How benefical do you find a LSD?

Cheers.

I have ordered my LSD, it is a Quafe and i would NOT settle for anything else.

My mini is not used on the road, it is a tarmac/forrist rally car and so a LSD is perfectly acetable for this situation.

If you have a LSD on the road you will find that you will constantly be steering left to right very slightly to keep it in a straigh line.
i know of people that have died due to crashing because they dont know how to drive with a LSD or use cheap ones that lock up.

If you want one then get a new quafei if you get an old one then take it to somene that knows hat they are doing to check it out before you use it, they are very expensive but on a compation car they are worth it.

Thanks.

I agree with the rest, the Quaife is the only one to have for road use. The only downside is that it doesn't work too well with one wheel off the ground.

I've got a tranex lsd set up quite tight.
The nature of an lsd, will cause a problem at low speed or pulling away on lock, but for a high powered engine its essential to get the power down.

i've tried the salisbury diff and it was a pig in tarmac jsut general driving but playing on the grass at smd it was great! would have been nie to give it a go on the track!! had a go on the quaife atb diff (in a renaut 5 tubs) just little road driving!! u stil noticed it was there slow speed turning but it didnt make life much harder and by heck it made a difference to not get wheelspin when the boost came on ;D shame they are so expensive!!
