I just picked up a Pioneer radio headunit for the mini. I can play music through the bluetooth and the mic also seems to be working. But I cannot hear any audio during phone calls. There was a non bluetooth pioneer unit there before.

Would anyone have any advice on fixing this?

Cheers

EDIT: The mic itself seems be working as I can record memos through the bluetooth, which like mp3's will also playback

Do you have front speakers or just the rear?  I suspect if you only have rears the stereo is designed to use only the front speakers for phone calls

I had this problem with a Pioneer head unit and it was exactly that- calls only go to the front speakers. Once I installed front speakers it all worked nicely.
