Am changing my brake servo set up for a yellow tag, dual line non-servo set up as I need the space. I know I have to change the brake pedal set up for a non servo brake pedal as I have been told that the linkage is different..........1 can I not just adapt the linkage without too much hastle instead?

2 where do I get a pre-servo wider brake pedal from?   tried everywhere but no joy

3 can I change the linkage over by just getting a pedal or do i have to buy the brake box as well?

4 are there any thread son here tat covers this as I can't seem to find any.....

help appreciated.........splintercat

You might get away with just removing the extension linkage rod and directly fit the master cylinder to the pedal. You then need to check that the master cylinder will get full range with the pedal resting on the floor.

I do not think this is true, I seem to remember the servo cars had a larger pin to the master cylinder?
A friend machined a bush and welded it into a servo pedal to overcome this issue, I simply robbed a pedal from a non servo car.
