Hello everyone. It’s been a long time since I’ve been in here, so I’ve no idea if anyone will see this.

I need to do some work on my current engine. I am looking for an engine that I could pop in as an interim to keep the car mobile. I am happy with anything as long as it’s manual.
I’d be prepared to pay a little more for a 1275, but I’m not interested in paying £600 for a boat anchor.

All I really need is something that’s running, in the south east for collection purposes.

I did see a running engine for sale in Chatham on the bay. I will see if I can find it.

Thanks guys. I used to use Josh quote a lot many years ago, I keep an eye on his eBay parts but hadn’t seen anything recently other than a 1275 for rebuild. Might drop him a message and see what he says.

might be worth asking the local mini clubs on facebook ?

 

Essex mini club is just over the bridge used to meet somewhere around the grays / tilbury area I think (Orsett?) , or presumably there's at least one club in Kent somewhere

If the seller can get it on a pallet, try Palletways, I used them a few years back and they are pretty reasonable.
