Some years ago, while my car was off the road, the original black gutter trim was damaged so I bought a brand new set from Mini Spares. They are LONG and can not be rolled up so shipping to the States was not so cheap...BUT I like things original when I can. Fast forward to today, those OEM trims seem to have shrunk on the car. The clips that hold them together, in the middle of car, are not long enough to cover them. I made the mistake of glue the trim down but that only meant that when I tried to removed it to try and adjust for the shrinking, I kinked it a bit. All in all, Im not too happy.

So, can you still buy the factory, pre-molded type gutter trim? If not, what are you all running and how well does it fit? Would love to see pictures if you have any, especially of the corners. I am not interested in the chrome type. Only after the most factory original look/fit black trim.

Thanks as always!

Original new are like rocking horse poo to get. I used Pheonix trim's own, it has a very similar profile and easy to fit. It comes as a single piece, stick it in a bucket of hot water for 5 minutes and then get it on! The job took seconds once it was out of the hot water bucket.

Thats what I was afraid of. Also, shipping is REALLY expensive due to size. Even MM wasn't sure they could even send a package that size but I bought a boatload of other stuff at the time so they were able to do it. I might have to give theirs a try. Its really driving me nuts. You look down on it all the time as the roof is low enough and mine is shrinking so it doesn't fit well around the corners. Pulling away and revealing the terrible yellow glue that I should never have used.

Look at Pheonix trim and the pics of my car, you'll see the quality of it.

Wow, took awhile to get through your build thread but MAN, well worth it. Seriously nice work and the gutters look great. I will have to give them a call. Thanks so much!

Can you send me a link to them? I am having trouble finding them over here. Keeping getting me results for Phoenix Arizona.
