Hi all, looking at getting some classic bucket seats like these for my mini:

http://bbclassics.co.uk/BBGTseats.html

I currently have cobra Monaco seats but they are getting worn out so I'm looking for something more comfortable and classic looking.

My only concern with these is that the high sides look as though they will not allow the lap belt part of the harness/seatbelt to sit properly, has anyone got any experience with these type of seats?

Thanks

Are they your old ones? If so, i might be interested in buying them if you do get new ones  :gimme:

Sadly not, I just included the picture to show how the belt lies over seat. My current seats are cobra monacos.

Belts / harnesses work much better when the seats have appropriate holes which IIRC the Cobra Monaco seats already have. Is it not worth considering having your current seats re-trimmed? You could even have the rear seat and door cards trimmed to match as well!

Yeah, I'm considering getting them re-trimmed. Also thinking about getting some oem style seats (possibly MR2) and getting them re-trimmed for more of a classic look. Would be more comfortable than the Monacos and still supportive.
