For panel protection in box sections especially triple layer so door pillar door stiffener and inner wing
also the bulkhead/scuttle/top dash rail
if removing the black phosphate coating on heritage panels tho i remember many years ago in miniworld them stating its the best primer you can get should be left on and flatted i been using zinc primer between bare metal

The problem of late with the black coating on the Heritage panels is spider tracks of rust. 

 

So personally i flat it right back to bare metal then Epoxy prime and where possible apply topcoat then a wax based product of choice.
