Anybody have CAD drawings or 3d models of engine components.
I want to have play about on Solid works.

Don't mind having a go from scratch if someone has 2d dimensions for components, blocks head etc etc.

Hi,

you should look for the CATIA-thread.

 

There I gave the address of my CAD-files on Grabcad: https://grab<span>ca...segeth-1/models

 

There are som Mini engine parts among others. Mostly I included the step-files (AP214), which you can load in any CAD-Application.

 

You also can search for parts from other designers. There is a cylinder head from a French-speaking member (search for 'culasse'). Although quite a lot of work but it does not resemble the real thing but find out yourself.

I wonder does anybody have dimensioned drawings for the a-series. Just for the fun
