Well I have the Inner A panels ready to fit, I also need two of the "newer" a panels.. with that, I need to make a brace here n there, and drill 4 holes into the doors, bit of strenthing on the doors, and hey persto, mk1 hinges on mk3 doors ;D

Watch my project thread when i start doing it, it'll most be a step-by-step guide!

Nope, as the hinges open differently, there would ba about an inch gap, to allow the doors to open!

I am prepared for the work, and it'll be amazing once done!!

only a joke man :-

Dog, would you cut away part of the mk3 inner wing, or just overlap the inner a panel onto it ?

would it not be easyer to brace the mk3 apanel with a bar, goingto the inner wing, then make up 2 seperate strengthing brackets out of some thick steel ?

Are you gunne keep the mk3 type door stop, or fit a strap ? ;D a strap would look really differernt! on a mk3 door!

I am doing the full works...

Completely convertin the mk3 shell into a mk1...

Mk1 lights
Mk1 boot
mk1 doors - sliding windows, exturnal hinges - on mk3 door
10" wheels
Mk1 front...

only thing that will make the Mini a tell tail sign of a mk3, will be the door handles, and the door shape! to the untrained eye, it'll be a mk1 ;D
