I happened to be attending a course at the Polytechnic University of Turin. Nice Art Deco style building, I happened to ask what the building had been before. I was told it was the old fiat factory. Then it clicked and I asked is there a track on the roof?

Brilliant! Is it open access to the roof?

I was up there for my 50th Birthday.  I was staying in the hotel and you have to ask for the key to the jogging track which allows you to get to the roof via a lift in the shopping centre next door.  The condition of the roof is deteriorating so hurry up if you want to go!!!

Nice pics guys. It's an absolute scream careering up/down those spiral ramps with a group of Minis, the sound is awesome.

Have been around it with The Italian Job charity run a couple of times now. It's not generally open to vehicles, it's just a jogging track for the hotel these days.  When I first went up in 2007 only half of it was open and we couldn't do a full lap, seem to recall they'd put speed bumps in as well. Last time I was up there the whole circuit was open after some repair works. Looks like they'e re-surfaced the banked bends since I was last up there. It's an impressive place to be with great views. Have had the privilege of eating in that big glass ball thing as well during one of the events.

On the IJ runs I've been on the Lingotto test track has been the start of the hilarious police escorted run through the Turin traffic, always chaotic fun. To anyone thinking of doing the IJ run I would thoroughly recommend it.
