I am new to any forum and would love to seek advice and also hear about all your projects.
I have a 1981 RAC mini van. Original registered by the RAC which my grandad drove put up signs for events and shows. As far as I know it’s the only minivan the RAC did as they normally used Morris minors, my grandad didn’t like them so they did him the mini van. He bought it off the RAC when he retired and my auntie inherited it when he passed.
I have had it now for a few years and it’s dry stored until I can gather all the info I need to restore it and keep it in its original style. I have no pictures of the mini and nor do the RAC as they said it’s a one off! The blue and red reflecting strip is original but there was some moe livery on the rear panel which I’m very keen to get hold of and pictures if they exist.
Can anyone help with any info or point me in the right direction of someone who can help?
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank you
Steve.

There was a Dinky Minivan below from the 1960's......but not sure about later in 1980's.

Also worth asking for advice on your rare RAC Minivan on the Mk1 Forum here:-

I wish I could help, but I unfortunately no.  However, welcome to the forum and I think your Mini Van is a wonderful inheritance.   Awesome!1

I think you will find that the RAC had rather more than one Mini Van.

And if it had been 20 years older, probably had an 803cc engine.
