I'm after the above, it can have the rim chipped/cracked as long as the centre and arms are ok

To be fair there is a good bit of steel in there and I have used ones that looked real bad in the center in auto cross with no problems.

Some seem to get hot in the sun and shrink more than others causing the cracks, as for effecting the strength I don`t know but I would guess not as I have not managed to break one.

You would need to get it repaired of course and there are a few ideas on the net. Chemical metal, Araldite and such like.

I think you have the wrong idea, I don't want one because mine is shot, I want a spare one to cut down and reduce the diameter, keeping my original one as is
