Price and product - that's the question
MiniSpares - never had any problems with them - price is fine
Moss - price - depends what they want. These can be the same product as of MiniSpares ?
All to do with price and bulk buying, and who gives the best deal to the buying /purchasing department of each company
Additionally - I know that MiniSpares for example sell the outer CV with the thrust washer and locknut, (or did use to) and some companies take these out of the product to charge extra at checkout

I've bought a couple from a few different companies, Minispares being one of them. The minispares ones seems to be good quality and a brand of Shaftec seems to be good but have only done about 3000 miles with them.
The problem that I've found with all the ones I've bought is that the shaft diameter is oversize, so the pot joints won't go into the diff covers on the gearbox. Most people don't have a problem due to the diff cover bushes wearing over time.

Like Alex, I've also found about a 1/3 of the Pot Joints I've bought in recent years have been over-size, only by 0.001 - 0.0015" but if the bushes in the covers have been redone to size, that's enough to not let them fit.
The other thing with many that are about now is that standard (original design) boots for replacement don't fit and I can't seem to find ones that do fit correctly. Thankfully, the boots they come with are good quality.

So I'm going to have a problem with new pot joints going in.
So I might as well just rebuild my old ones
