Hi all,

Just wondering if I could use some of my older pre-A+ gears (2nd in particular) on a A+ gearbox as the A+ one is quite chewed up and needs replacing.

Both have 26 teeth and apart from that I cant see many other differences ....

Any suggestions for yay or nay would be great thanks !

The early A+ Gearboxes shared many of the same gears as the A types, however, the identifying feature of the A+ Gears is the line(s) that are ground across the tops of the teeth. These Gears are different and bot compatible with A types. The Helix Angle is slightly different and the Tooth Form is very different.
