i have a big valve 12G940 longman head with some numbers stamped into it one of which i can’t recall it means. it has chamber size 21.0 and a 4 digit number i believe is a s/n and a third number “30” which i am trying to decipher. anyone know the code?

Probably denotes it’s had a 0.030” (30 thou) skim.
You could confirm by measuring the thickness, I think standard is exactly 2.75”.

My old cracked Longman GT15 would appear to have had 80thou skimmed from it.
