Evening all, got a minor problem.
Whats the largest AMP-ness (is that a word) of a battery i can put in a stage1 998 with a shed load of electrical gadetry? mines died and i wanted to put in a bigger AMP-ness (?) Battery,

a good battary for a Mini thats got alot in it... for example, a big sound system etc...

a Pug 306 Diesel battary is good! this is what I am going to use, and all I need to run is the engine!

The standard is a 33 Amper hour (A/h) battery. But you can have as high an A/h as your willing to pay for.

A 33A/h rating is telling you that the battery will supply 33 Amps for an hour when fully charged, 66Amps for 30 minutes, 16.5 Amps for 2 hours and so on.

Your average mini will draw around 15-20 Amps with everything on


The battery will only supply what the car needs. There is NO danger of having a higher A/h rated battery, itll just take longer to charge.

Ive been wondering for a while, Wheres the other half of your car? It was there at the Showdown. DO you keep the drivers half in the house at night so the seat is nice and warm in the morning?
