Hi guys I have a 82 city that I had to reshell into a cooper shell but not going to use a servo for brakes as I didn't have one before.

2 questions

I don't know how to install a pedal box so what is the procedure?

Can I use a servo pedal box but remove bits to make it a non servo box as I can't find any pre servo pedal boxes!

Thanks

99% sure that by this point the pedal boxes are all the same(?). Just change out the master cylinder & plumb to your preference.

Im 99.9% sure the pedal box is the same from the 12 inch wheeled non servo till the end of production.

Edit there may be a difference to the size of either the pivot point or the MC mount at the pedal.

Theres a thread in the technical FAQs section to confirm.

While the pedal Boxes are the same, I'm, sure the Brake Pedal itself is different.

Yes - sure the servo brake pedal uses a more longer shaft which operates differently and the bracket facilities are different to house the servo

The opening on the later servo pedal box is also different, but sure it also fits. The studs on the pedal box are UNF thread. It has been a while since I did a conversion - so someone on here would have done one more closer to the current time who could supply more information
