Hi All,

Had my '64 Super deluxe for a few weeks now so still familiarising myself with it!

One real niggle is that the dash lights don't work yet.  They appear to have no live feed.  There is an un-attached switch on the binnacle.

I really have no idea about car electrics, (and you may well advise me to take it to someone who does!), but half the fun of owning this mini is to learn so I though I'd post here first.

I think the witing is thus.

Although the Speedo and oil guage have bulbs with red / white wires, the temp guage bulb holder is missing with no apparent wire feeding.

I also cannot see a live feed which I'm assuming goes to the binnacle switch.  But from where should I take this?

I'm wondering if the red and white lead to the right of the dash is to the switch or missing oil guage light.

If one bulb goes does this break the circuit for all?

Thanks for any insight!

M

That's an interesting way of adding extra gauges!

On the diagram the live feed for the switch is signified by the red wire which shows that it is taken from the sidelight circuit so the panel lights will only work when the sidelights are switched on.

No, if one bulb fails the others will still be illuminated.
