hi ,i think my engine has liners in the bore.

just took head of 

since im rebulding is it ok to rebore the liners to + 20 for new pistons?

or do i have to get new liners insalled?

Have the bores examined by an engineering workshop.

Some of the factory fitted liners will go to +0.020 but as Deadsquare suggests, let the machine shop have a look and provide advice.

often when you take the head off it does look like liners have been fitted. but it is just looks.

Yep sure does anyway I'll find out when I take the pistons out and crankshaft etc

The only way to see if it has liners is to look from the crankshaft side of the block.
