Hi,

I'm currently restoring a 1990 Mini Mayfair and with my restoration, I wanted to try replicate the interior of the David Brown Mini remastered.

As for fitting the infotainment screen, I had this in mind https://www.halfords...y-and-bluetooth

Since I have no electrical knowledge in any shape or form. I was wondering if this was possible? I've seen a similar set up from another forum page http://www.theminifo...h-panelconsole/

I do aim on adding several more features such as spot lamps and then a Savage switch upgrade also. http://www.theminifo...ustom-switches/

Overall, I was wondering how possible this would be, I most likely end up having a qualified electrician deal with the actual installation of the equipment, I just wanted to know before committing to this is it can be done.

Thanks.

The head unit will do most of the hard work for you wiring wise. You’ll need to power it and think about speakers etc. I’d speak to wired by Wilson if I were you. He could probs to make you a lovely loom which would essentially mean you could plug and play. Same for the savage switches. I have two switch panels from him and they were literally plug and play.

All you really need is a Bluetooth linked amp. And then have a holder for your  phone.

hide the amp. And take the phone with you. Safe.

Yeah I was planning on getting the savage speakers from them as it comes completed. As for the speakers I was planning on having speakers on the parcel shelf and then in the dash as a replacement for the air vents
