What was different about the swiftune one?
The Swiftune cap is made of ally, the Metro is plastic.

Not using it enough. The water that condenses in the engine voids is not been removed by getting the engine up to temp for long enough.

As Nicklouse says use it more or run it to temperature and keep it running for a while

So if no loss of coolant at all then i would say its down to short journeys not allowing the engine to warm up.
So what have you done from a work point of view???

I wouldn`t panic just yet, as above it`s 2 degrees C and 70% humidity where you are so it probably needs a good run to cook off the moisture.
Obviously wipe that gunk off before putting it back on and check your fluids, hopefully not a head gasket issue.

Thx guys and has been sitting for a bit and just noticed the thermostat is not working, bought a new 88 degree and putting in now, taking for a run and will advise shortly.
To answer question above about what I have done, just booting back in a stage 3 head and torqued it down is all

Poor Crankcase ventilation will also do that. There's not only needs to be a 'draw out' point but flow through ventilation. Usually, Air is admitted in to the Rocker Cover via the cap.

What rocker cover cap are you using? I had your problem all the time I was using a Swiftune cap, changed to a red Metro cap and the mushroom soup completely disappeared.
