Hs6 Needle Slection For 1275 Cooper S

Hi folks, I have the option of the dual HS4's or a new HS6 to install on

my new build. It will be 12G940 head ported, freeflow exhaust, mild street/rally

cam. What I need is needle and spring for either selection as I don't know

which would be the best setup..........both carb selections have biased needles.

Personally I'd say the twin carbs for a genuine Cooper S, a single SU just wouldn't be right  :D

 

The late police spec cars here used twin HS4 carbs with CP4 needles. Vizard has needle 3 or 4 with a red spring for a modified road engine and BG  and blue or red for a race engine. These will at least get you a starting point to tune from
