This will give you an idea of routing.

The loom passes through a bolt on steel plate that screws over the rotodip hole in the centre of the bulkhead.

Have you got said steel plate?

As for the loom routing in the engine bay, all the wiring for the lights, alternator, starter, starter solenoid, distributer etc passes through the cut out in the strengthening plate between the wing channel and the x member on the left as you look at the engine bay.

All other wiring for wiper motor, flasher, washer motor and conections to the rear loom etc runs along the bulkhead to the right as you look at the engine bay.

Not much to it really.

Inside the car, the loom comes throigh the steel plate over the rptodip hole and then immediately down through the big round cut out in the front parcel shelf.

Cheers

Ben

Here is a 1275gt I restored. The page linked shows the fitting of the loom. It's basically the same thing and if you soon in on the photos, it should show up ok

Also after I sent my last post, I realised that yours being a 79 should have centre Speedo I believe so you won't have the steel plate. The loom just passes through behind the Speedo pod.

Cheers
Ben
