I have 97 1275 cc Japanese version classic mini and due to some repairs I have removed dash board and subsequently there is a inner sponge type felt was there an d it was crack in to pieces while removing . so any body can help me to find some source find same item.
in fact similar kind of materia required at engine bay side as well just to avoid engine heat is leaking to inside room through wal between engine and dash board. pls guide

You can by the engine side foam from Smiffys Bits or Mini Sport. The interior sound proofing like Rover used is NLA but most replace with a modern and better equivalent like closed cell foam. Plenty of choice of thickness etc.

I used 15mm closed cell and used the old foam as a guide to cut to the right shape

Is anyone using cork mat for sound proofing? Seems like it could do a good job and is readily available in various thicknesses and some with adhesive backing.
