Hi guys. I have a 1984 city e 1275. So I've had problems with my rev counter for a while. After looking into it with my trusty multimeter I've deduced that I have a steady volt supply to both wires arrowed (the black and red on top) on thes picture below. Is this as it should be?? I cannot get it to work but pretty certain I have power where I need to so my guess is there's something wrong with the mechanism... please if anyone could shed some light o this it would be a massive help.
