I'm not familiar with that at all. Do you have the actual switch you can test for continuity? How many distinct key turn positions are there - the usual OFF (key out) - ACCESSORY (radio heater fan) - IGNITION - STARTER?

If so they are probably just wires coming off a common terminal. There's a slight possibility they could have separate terminals so the various circuits remain isolated from each other when they aren't connected by the ignition switch.

You really need to check with a multimeter, but from memory in Position 3 (ignition):

IN1 is connected to 1 (white)

IN2 is connected to 2A and 2B (yellow on 2A and 2B is empty)

I think the connection between IN2 and 2A may break during cranking

That'd be why the radio switches off during cranking.

Similar - that’s the green on position 2 having the power to it cut during cranking

The green goes to AUX or ACC and which is live when the key is turned one click to Position 2:

Position 1 - Off (key can be removed)

Position 2 - ACC

Position 3 - IGN

Position 4 - START

Note - the wiring diagrams you are looking at are for the later MPi cars.  Earlier cars wouldn't have the yellow cable as they didn't have factory fitted electric sunroof and multiway fuse boxes (apart from a few exceptions)
