Vauxhall subframes are available, but mainly for the C20XE I think (2.0 16v). I'm sure it could be made to fit, as the C20 fits in a Corsa.
Not sure it's a great engine choice though really. The early 8v SRI wasn't particularly powerful, and the later 16v engine is the same physical size as the 1.6 16v, which would be a much better choice IMO.
