the mini is now just a bare shell and i can turn it on its side quite easy.
i was wondering if there is any attachments for a 9" angle grinder that might do the job?
also i want to remove all the old paint ready for a repray, so again , is there any way to do this with an angle grinder with the correct 'blade' . (some kind of attachment that will remove paint but not damage the metal)
heres hoping.....

Or you could always heat it up and scrape it off? Sometimes it scrapes off quite easily when it's dry and flaky or you could soak it in white spirit for a while.
Whatever way its a pretty arduous task but quite worth it

Also a good idea to turn the car on it's side, but this may not be possible.

if you mean removing the paint from the car body and not from were you have took the underseal off use paint stripper or a paint removing disc that fits on grinders, i cannot remember the correct name for it but i think machine mart sells them, they take the paint off and dont do a lot of damage to the metal.

i can easily get the mini on its side so scraping the underseal off should be a bit easier than normal.

on a serious note tho try the heat and scraper option or maybe petrol/paint thinner/paint stripper and a scraper
