AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHH someone please help ASAP

Ok i jest went out to buy a Torque wrench and when i go to do up the nut i need to do up the torque wrench doesnt acctuall do the nuts up it just undoes them until the nut comes completly off :'(

So whne ever i turn the wrench it onle works so that it undoes bolts and there is no way of changing this, i have read throught the manual for it 4 times now PLEASE HELP

lmao! Was there a switch or did you have to push the drive through the other side?

oh and what torque wrench was it? I think I might buy one soon?

i spose its one of those halfords ones where you take the ratchet head off and put it in the other way round! lol
same thing happened to me to.

wow rocket science that, the torque wrenches arent that bad, saying that there are alot better ones, like the metal draper ones the one i have doesnt have a big enough range so i might have a to buy another...doh

Yep thats the one my mum got if from Halfords, i have to tske part of the head off and turn it round.

Just to add i phoned my mum up and asked her if she could get me one if there no more that £25 as i could get one from on the web for £15 but i needed one kind of quickly, so she went and brought me one from Halfords, brought it home and said it was £50 :o ^_^ :P :genius: >:( :xxx: :'( :crazy: So i asked why did she buy it i said dont get one if its more that £25 and she just said i dont know. So i said ill take it back as i canget it way cheaper that that.

O yea i used it quickly before i put it back :ph34r:

i think you need a halfords trade card! i have one and there are some good deals to be had. try and blag one..

Should've picked up last months copy of Mini Mag. It had reviews of the most common torque wrenches. The winner was only £15 :genius:

yea you did but there is no shop you said about that is local to me thats why i said to my mum £25 max if not ill order it from online.

Get one off ebay. You can get new ones off there for quite cheap.

yeah, but i don't know if their C**p or not, rather go by a decent rating that a cheap price. :genius:

did look at a draper one bloody hell it cost a packet. then i looked at a snap-on one. put the price in perspective quickly.
