Hi 

 

could do with a little advice on mini spares mega pistons, boost and CR. Im just a little confused that the mini spares site states 5psi boost and standard metro turbo was 7psi? Also i have my engine in bits to check CR. If others are using these pistons what boost do you run and what is your CR. I only intend a very standard engine with T3 and standard ish boost.

ok, looking at that they say 9.38cc  I am pretty sure the original turbo piston was 12cc dish, so the increased compression ratio would sugest an decrease in boost wou;ld be needed, unless you intercool etc.

Thanks for this. Looking like another week or so now until i have all parts to rebuild the engine and check CR. I will see what it works out at and maybe will be forced to use the intercooler.
