Hi,
I'm wanting to fit a maniflow stage 1 kit to my standard 998.
I have 2 options;
Free flow manifold and LCB manifold.
The maniflow site recommends the free flow for 1000-1275. The LCB for 1275, both are 1 3/4".
My original choice was the free flow, but my friend reckons the LCB is better and easier to fit because the free flow you need to tilt the engine forward to fit?
so now I'm not sure, and was wondering other peoples thoughts?

Cheers

I believe the LCB gives you a slight edge in HP at max revs vs the cooper freeflow, but no real life difference to make one worth more than the other.
What I will say however IS.... having had both, I currently have the cooper freeflow because it seals better than the LCB. I find fitting the freeflow was easier and having all 3 flanges inline makes setup really easy. All you have to do to get it in is open the top stabilizer arm and tilt forwards, and insert the freeflow at 90* then twist it correct. Not sure if you go in Tail to the right or left but one is def. easier than the other ;)

Cooper freeflow is easier to seal and a little easier to fit in my experience
